Monday, March 14, 2022 Wikinews received clarification earlier this month from the United Kingdom Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) regarding the government’s response to the cost of living crisis following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. They now include “financial, trade, aircraft, shipping and immigration sanctions” to urge Russia “to cease actions which destabilise Ukraine, or undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine.” Most recently, it includes a commitment made by Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng Tuesday to phase out Russian oil and natural gas in the UK by the end of the year. Swiss court rules in favor of American account holder
Saturday, January 23, 2010 An American client of Switzerland-based bank, UBS, has won an appeal in Swiss court on Friday against providing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States with relevant information about his offshore accounts. The Swiss court ruled that the man’s failure to complete an IRS tax form, no matter how much money it pertained to, was not in itself fraudulent behavior. The case calls into question an agreement made between Switzerland and the United States last year in which Swiss tax authorities would supply the IRS with information on nearly 4,500 suspected tax evaders and their respective accounts. A further twenty-five similar cases are still pending; the verdicts of which may be influenced by this precedent-setting case. The Swiss government will meet next Wednesday to discuss how to better implement last year’s Swiss-US banking accord. As it pertains to the case at hand, if they…

How Do Mediums Work Mediumship Through The Ages
Click Here To Know More About: Black Friday Sale By Rachels Saxon Though we live in a modern and enlightened age, the subject of death remains taboo. Death both fascinates and frightens us. We come into this world knowing that one day we will die, whilst actually knowing nothing about death and the process which takes place following death. Mediums are the modern day story tellers of the after life but may fear mediums and mediumship itself. Is death really the end? Or is it a natural transition where we return to the place, our essence or spirit came from. Is our physical shell simply that, a clothing of sorts for our spirit and soul vehicle? The modern day words and rituals convey deep misunderstanding due to the style of finality we adopt when someone dies. Words like, ‘at rest’, convey the thought train that the end of that life…
