Welcome to the Association of Yoga and Meditation India. Here at AYM we offer courses for specialised multi style yoga training course which aims to give the participants a solid and deep knowledge in a variety of different forms of yoga. The Association of Yoga and Meditation India is located in Rishikesh ( India ) and is a certified yoga training school in india and also registered with Yoga alliance USA. The courses offered are both residential and non-residential and focus on asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, kriya, relaxation and meditation along with yogic anatomy and physiology, psychology and teaching methodology. AYM offers three different course lengths which are RYS 200 – 300 and 500 hours respectively.

200 Hours Yoga Teachers Training:

This particular course specialises both in traditional and modern styles of yoga and includes multi-styles of yoga. The 200 hour course begins on the 15th of every month and will end on the 12th of the following month. During this course the participant will become educated in the traditional Indian style yoga known as Hatha yoga and Sivanda yoga; which is a static type of yoga meaning that the yoga poses need to be held for some time. The course will also incorporate dynamic forms of yoga such as Ashtanga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Flow Yoga and Power Yoga which are yoga poses which are repeated and held for a shorter duration. This course is conducted each month:

2. 300 Hours Yoga Teachers Training:

This particular course is more concentrated on the advanced aspects of yoga; in particular participants will learn how to diagnose illness and then cure this illness using advanced yoga techniques. This 300 hour course is conducted once in a year. Structure: 200 hrs contact hours + 100 hrs assignments and teaching practice (non contact hours)

This course will span over 8 weeks and can be either completed in one go, if the participant has previous experience or alternatively can be split into two parts, 200 hrs (4 weeks) first and 300 hrs (4 weeks) later on. This course is also conducted once a year.

A one who is interested in learning the ancient Indian system of Yoga and its applied science. It is available for all, irrespective of caste and creed although your eligibility will be accessed after you send us detailed application form, after checking your eligibility, we will mail you and, you have to proceed for payment, after payment your seat will be confirmed.


The Yoga Diploma will be awarded by the Association for Yoga and Meditation on successful completion. The course is also certified by Indian Yoga Alliance for 200 hours,300hours and 500 hours Yoga Teacher Training and also internationally recognized by International Yoga federation, the world topmost yoga organization in the world and can apply for international teacher card at IYF.

Course Syllabus:

The course is intense level and integrated. Yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology yoga psychology all these subjects are integrated in each module for example when we teach module Yoga asana that time teacher has to explain asana practically and will explain Yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology yoga psychology and other related aspects. There will be minimum six modules for diploma and minimum duration to get diploma is 200 hours, each module having two papers one for theory and one for yoga practical of 100 marks each.
